Hey my friends, the season 3 was finally released at the beginning of November 🥳🥳🥳🥳! It was eagerly awaited.

Sam will go to the University 🥳🥳: a big step and even more for a young autistic/asperger guy , fan of penguins! 🥰
From the first minutes, it brings us back to our own concern about the future of our atypical children: studies, autonomy, confrontation with the world of young adults… Indeed I believe that like all parents, even for neurotypical children, we are worried about this big step for them (how are things going to be, how are they going to handle this, are they going to get in trouble? ….) but for our “different” children, there are still more challenges that may seem mild, easy … while for them it’s a big challenge: to organize their agenda, to manage their homework alone, to be on time for classes ….
As always, this TV show highlights all these difficulties in a simple, authentic way: Sam shows us the real difficulties our children have to deal with. In addition to these “specificities”, she tackles the problems inherent in this difficult period of transition that is “teenagers and the coming of adulthood”… we see the quest for sexual identity, the entrance in “adulthood” (you’ll understand what I’m talking about when you will have seen the show 🤪), the problem of friendship, love that gets complicated growing up… So much easier when we were small 🤪: play together, enjoy with no implied 😊😉 !!
This show also focuses on a very painful topic, and often forgotten: the couple and what the atypical’s children can have as a consequence! Indeed already being a parent can disturb the balance and sometimes we forget we still are a couple… we get lost … we’re just parents. But I think it’s even worst for parents of atypical children … what do you think? Are you in this situation?
It is so intense and it requires so much energy every day, a work of every moment that we tend to forget ourselves, and thus to forget “the” couple and keep being only a parent! It is really necessary, even vital, to take small “selfish” moments, out of the everyday‘s routine!
And as always this show fills us with emotions: there are moments so emotional that make you weep. It’s an echo to our life, our everyday family atypical’s moments!
We love this family, each of its members, each person who is part of their entourage … We want everything ends well for everyone !!

We cross our fingers and hope NetFlix will release the 4th season 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
