For once, a little self-promotion 🥰🤩😝

Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well!

My January has been a busy month because, in addition to my little prince💙🥳’s birthday, I finally published my first children’s book!🥳🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩🤩🤩.

After several months of work, and collaboration with Gregoire, my husband’s cousin ( a talented illustrator ( https://gregoireveauleger.artstation.com ), my book “Marshall, a lion cub like the others or almost” is on sale on Amazon. Here is the synopsis to give you a little idea of the story (just to give you the envy to read it 😉🥰 – well I hope so🤞🏻) :

“Marshall, a cute little lion cub, wakes up one morning with a blue strand.

But what does this fuse represent? Why did it appear? Let’s find out as Marshall shares his adventures with his friends and family, at school and at home!

Enjoy reading with this lion cub, just like the others, or almost!”

The project took a long time to see the light of day because I had to mature it, find the right person to put my ideas into images, face the constraints, and ask myself the right questions ( publishing houses, self-publishing …)!🤯😉

“Why” MARSHALL 🦁?

This idea came after the diagnosis: I wanted to find a book for my daughter that could talk to her about her difference in a gentle, light-hearted way! I also wanted other kids to be able to wonder about other people’s differences and see that it doesn’t change how they might feel about their different friends: They remain friends despite their different behaviours! And unfortunately, I had not found anything that fit my expectations. So the idea came up 🌱 but it took a while to make it happen…

I also wanted to thank everyone around me, friends, family, and my loves, for their support and encouragement. There were more difficult moments, moments of doubt, anxiety, excitement and pride!
